Many things are being incorporated into the design and build to benefit the environment for now and in the future, that will also save money for investors. Things that are being done include:

• Aims to reduce the use of non bio-degradable products and waste
• Working with the local community to educate and highlight the importance of recycling
• Cement based water insulation materials used
• Water membrane applied on sloping concrete on flat roofs
• Individual water meters installed to control usage
• All build materials and furniture is sourced locally – reduces carbon footprint of importing from elsewhere.
• Only local labour and contractors used
• Year round site supporting local community and tourist trade
